The citrus blossom and lotus water combo makes this smell like fresh laundry drying in a sunlit room, and the basil adds just enough sharpness to keep it from being too sweet. I sprayed it on my wrist before bed and could still catch soft traces of clary sage in the morning.
It’s the basil that gets me—it keeps the citrus from going too sweet, like a cool breeze through the whole wear. The lotus water makes it feel dewy and fresh on my skin, not heavy at all. I’ve already worn it three days straight and still catch myself smiling at the scent.
The clary sage really grounds the citrus blossom instead of letting it run sweet, which I wasn’t expecting from a mini. I dabbed it on after a hot shower and the dewy lotus water note stayed close to my skin for a few hours without shouting.
